Why this matters
While AI search engines largely don’t use llms.txt for citation (see the AI-Access llms.txt fix for that honest picture), Google’s experimental Agentic Browsing audit does check for it as a machine-readable map for agents. An llms.txt gives an agent a quick orientation to your site’s key pages and purpose. It’s forward-looking — useful for the agentic web that’s emerging, not a current citation driver.
How to fix it
Add a plain-text llms.txt at your site root with a concise map of your site. (This is the same file covered in the AI-Access pillar — if you’ve added it there, this check passes too.) A simple structure: your business name, a one-line description, and a short list of key pages (services, contact).
