These terms govern your use of ai-searchscore.com and any services you purchase from GCAT Investments Pty Ltd (ACN 684 047 087) as trustee for the GCAT Investment Trust (ABN 19 800 902 179), trading as “AI Search Score” (“we”, “us”). By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
The website and free plugin
The AI Search Score plugin and the information on this site are provided “as is” to help you assess your site’s AI-search readiness. Scores and recommendations are guidance based on current best practices and our own analysis; they are not a guarantee of search ranking, AI citation, or any specific outcome. Search engines and AI systems change their behaviour independently of us.
Services
Where you engage us for audits, fixes, or builds:
- We will describe the scope and price before work begins; work proceeds once you accept a quote.
- Payment terms: for larger projects (whole-site fix-ups and new builds), a 50% deposit is payable before work begins, with the balance due on completion. Single-page fixes are payable in full on completion. Care plans are billed monthly in advance.
- We aim to deliver the agreed scope but do not guarantee specific score increases, rankings, or commercial results, as these depend on factors outside our control.
- Timeframes are estimates made in good faith.
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for providing access we need (e.g. to your site) and for the accuracy of information you give us. You must own or have the right to modify any site we work on.
Intellectual property
The site’s content, the plugin, and the AI Search Score name and logo are owned by us or our licensors. The plugin is provided under its stated licence (GPL where published on WordPress.org).
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from changes in third-party search/AI systems. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable consumer protections. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited (where permitted) to re-supplying the service or the amount you paid for it.
Refunds
If we cannot deliver the agreed scope of work, we will work with you on a remedy or a proportionate refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which may entitle you to a remedy that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
