Adding llms-full.txt (the optional companion)

Last updated:

AI Search Score checks for llms-full.txt, an optional companion to llms.txt that contains fuller content for AI tools.

Why this matters

Where llms.txt is a concise map, llms-full.txt can hold expanded content — more complete descriptions an AI tool could use when navigating your site. Like llms.txt, it’s forward-looking: useful for the agentic web, not a current citation driver. Treat it as optional polish once llms.txt is in place.

How to fix it

If you want it, create llms-full.txt at your root with fuller versions of your key content — expanded service descriptions, fuller about text, key FAQs. Keep it in sync with your actual site content so it doesn’t drift out of date.

Don’t prioritise this over the higher-impact fixes (schema, semantic HTML, freshness). It’s a nice-to-have for agentic readiness, nothing more.

How to check it worked

Re-scan. “llms-full.txt present” should turn green. Confirm it loads at yourdomain.com/llms-full.txt.
